HONEST & TRUE MOVING CREW

Consulting for a Moving Company was one of the most surprising experiences I have had on my adventures. The amount of research that was needed to create a workflow system was immense. Not only did I find myself working with Federal Agencies that have the power to shut you down with any violation but the legal contracts that I created had to be spot on as well. I developed everything from the ground up for them. Customer database, invoicing, call center, corporate branding, GPS Lojack Systems, etc. The entire operation was designed and implemented within one year’s time. While I was with them they tripled in size and created a foundation to expand.

KING OF THE HILL AUTOMOTIVE

At King of the Hill, I found myself doing just about everything you can think of on a lot. Often times I would be doing troubleshooting for computer systems, adding cars to online classifieds and then be taken out to car auctions to learn how to pick out good cars to sell. The office experience combined with the lot experience gave me a complete understanding of the Automotive Industry. My general understanding of Mechanics, Electronics, Racing, and Driving allowed me to interact with customers and enjoy helping them find a car. I even learned about financing and how to get someone with no credit or bad credit a loan.

THE BYTE SHOP COMPUTERS

On one sunny afternoon I decided to walk into the local computer shop in Naples to buy a new mouse. As soon as I walked in I noticed they had a very unique operation. It reminded me of my Grand Father's small business and I was immediately attracted to the atmosphere. The owner came over to me his self to discuss my purchase at which time I decided to engage him about any positions that were available. After sitting with him and his right-hand man Felipe they both asked me if was available to start that day right then. Eventually, the business was sold to new owners but not before I established myself as the Senior Private Consultant and the go-to guy for all training. I loved this job. Working with elderly people and coming up for solutions for them in the tech field was an amazing experience. Felipe my manger and I developed a sales style where we worked off each other to make sales. Not only did I do sales but I would have a dozen computers lined up in the back doing scans. I did repairs, estimates, made websites, and built custom machines. My onsite service at customer’s homes yielded me large tips for excellent customer service.

ARACRI PIZZERIA

Hidden downtown right by the courthouses and palace theater is a small Italian cafe that is owned by actual Italians that have operated there for 30 years without marketing. They serve the Attorneys and business people downtown and have traditional New York Style Slices. It was an honor to train and work for them as their Interim General Manager for their new location on OSU Campus. I helped set up the system, hire and train the employees and worked 3am shifts to serve the College Bar Scene. The Oven was my favorite thing about this job. It was here that I learned how to bake with an open flame and was able to show off my Pizza Making Skills in front of customers.
